Having lived in Queensland for the majority of my life, I’ve not really ever experienced a real winter. So wearing my dresses and maxi skirts all year round was nothing out of the ordinary. Now that I live in Perth and the temperatures generally don’t reach double digits at this time of year I’ve had to become a little more winter conscious.
Here is my super simple recipe for wearing a maxi skirt in winter.
What you’ll need:
- A fabulous maxi skirt.
- A shorter jumper or fine knit.
- A pair of boots.
To create the look simply tuck the front of the jumper into the maxi skirt. Having a jumper that’s shorter in length is best, as it wont add bulk to your tummy area. Pop on your best boots and you’re DONE!! Such an easy look that suits all shapes and sizes.
I am wearing the SASS Clothing, Snuggly Winter Knit in a size 14. I also have it in grey and coconut.
